Perps trading fees apply when you execute a trade. The current Hype perps trading fee is 0.1% per trade.
Example:
- A 1,000 USDC position at a 0.1% trading fee costs 1.00 USDC.
Trading fees are charged when you open a position and when you close a position. The order screen shows the estimated fee before confirmation, along with other trade details such as estimated fill price, slippage, and margin used.
Funding costs are separate from trading fees.
- Trading fees apply when a trade executes.
- Funding rates apply hourly to open positions.
Both affect the economics of a perps trade. A position can be profitable from price movement but still have meaningful funding costs if held for a long time.
Transfers between token cash balance and perps cash balance are free and instant inside the app.
Current minimums:
- Minimum transfer into perps cash balance: 5 USDC
- Minimum transfer out of perps cash balance: 2 USDC
- Minimum position size: 15 USDC notional

By accessing or using Perps functionality, you represent and warrant that: (a) you are not a U.S. Person; (b) you are not accessing Perps from within the United States; (c) you are not accessing Perps on behalf of, or for the benefit of, any U.S. Person; (d) you will not use any VPN, proxy, anonymization service, location-spoofing technology, or other mechanism to conceal your location, misrepresent your residency, or circumvent geographic or eligibility restrictions applicable to Perps; and (e) you understand that these representations are material and that Hypeshot, Inc. is relying on them in providing you access to Perps functionality.
